Half of Northbound Bridge Redecked

Construction to re-deck the upstream side of the northbound I-476 Bridge over the Schuylkill River has been completed.
In addition to a new concrete deck and new upstream parapets (side walls), crews cleaned and refurbished the structural componets of the bridge's superstructure.
Two lanes of northbound traffic were shifted to the rebuilt side of the bridge in early August, and work began immediately to remove the remaining half of the northbound bridge.
