Slow Down for Lane Shifts
|
Motorists are advised to remain alert for shifting traffic patterns and to slow to the posted 45 MPH speed limit entering and traversing the I-476 work zone between Exit 16 and Exit 20.
In addition to lane shifts, motorists will encounter sections of uneven pavement, concrete construction barrier, narrow lane widths and the presence of construction equipment and personnel along the entire 3.5 mile long work area. Pattern shifts also are in place along some entry and exit ramps.
Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for work zone traffic infractions.
